PROJECT CHOMA - Screen choice and why

For the digital signage project located on the face of an 80+ -year-old water tower in Zambia's Choma region, the team chose two rear access LED modules (for easy maintenance) with a 10000 nits brightness and a size of 6.4 meters wide by 3.6 meters high, while maintaining a 16:9 aspect ratio for ease of content creation. A pixel size of 10mm was selected due to the height and distance at which the screens would be viewed from. These choices ensured that the display was bright and visible from a distance, while also providing high-quality visuals with a clear and sharp picture.
